A Living Tradition

Origin 南部

In 1659, the Nambu samurai clan invited kettle makers to their castle town of Morioka. What began as weaponsmithing evolved into an art form when peaceful times allowed craftsmen to turn their skill toward objects of beauty and daily ritual.

Legacy Heirloom

Collectors worldwide cherish Nambu ironware not just as functional objects, but as living artifacts — each piece bearing the unmistakable marks of its maker's hand, growing more beautiful with decades of use.
