International Shipping
We ship worldwide from our workshop in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture — the birthplace of Nambu ironware. All orders are carefully packaged using double-boxing with custom foam inserts to ensure your Tetsubin arrives in perfect condition.

Customs & Import Duties
Import duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply depending on your country's regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our product prices or shipping costs.
US Customers: Under the current US-Japan Trade Agreement, most cast iron cookware items enter duty-free. Duty rates are subject to change per US customs regulations. We recommend verifying current rates with US Customs and Border Protection.
EU Customers: For orders €150 or less, we collect VAT at checkout (IOSS-registered), so you won't face unexpected charges on delivery. For orders over €150, VAT and any applicable duties will be collected by the carrier upon delivery.
Other Regions: Customs duties and taxes vary by country. We provide all necessary customs documentation with every shipment. Customs estimates are for reference only; final charges are determined by your local customs authority.
If a package is returned due to unpaid duties/taxes, the buyer is responsible for all associated shipping and customs costs.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Each Tetsubin is a handcrafted work of art, and we stand behind the quality of every piece.
Return Policy
- 30-day return policy for items in resalable condition
- Full refund of the product price and original shipping cost. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is defective
- Free replacement for items damaged during shipping (contact within 14 days)
- Exchange available for different sizes or patterns (subject to availability)
To initiate a return, please contact us with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with return shipping instructions. A prepaid return label is provided for defective or damaged items; for standard returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
EU/UK Customers: You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations. See our full returns policy for details.
